As part of our sustainable development policy, we are working on improving both our internal operations and the way we do business.
We are committed to supporting all of our customers (individuals, independent professionals, entrepreneurs, companies and more) in their projects by offering them a wide range of products and services.
In order to integrate sustainable development into our business, we are focusing our efforts on three key points:
- offering a range of products and services that are “responsible” – ones that are not only environmentally friendly in both design and use, but that also respect the people involved in developing them (employees, suppliers, and so on);
- facilitating access to our products and services for vulnerable populations;
- promoting and explaining the offer within the company and to our customers.
The Specifics
In 2009, after an in-depth study among medical professionals and actuaries, BNP Paribas Assurance established specialised pricing and additional coverage for its loan insurance product that takes into account the changing situation of paraplegics:
- creation of a detailed and specific medical questionnaire
-
new pricing tailored to the individual (social integration, degree of independence, etc.) and the evolution of the individual’s illness (access to additional coverage such as inability to work, a decrease in surcharges, etc.)
