BNP Paribas continues to pursue a long tradition of campaigns inspired by the cinema, dating back to the BNP campaigns based on the French movie "Tontons Flingueurs" (Monsieur Gangster, 1963) in 1995.
The Group uses pastiche movie posters, TV and radio ads inspired by cinema to promote its products and services, particularly in France, Italy and Ukraine.
Every ingredient of a film production, from music, sets and costumes to special effects, features in BNP Paribas’ advertising: campaigns aimed at young customers using the French comedians Eric and Ramzy; the Western campaign in France and Ukraine for SMEs; or the ‘Win your house’ campaign, the ad for which draws on the comedy genre, with a ‘retro cartoon’ style, music and special effects.
Similarly, poster campaigns frequently resemble movie posters or otherwise refer to films.
The world of cinema has been adopted as a distinguishing element in the Group’s advertising communication.
