The Banque pour l'Industrie et le Commerce (BIC) was set up in 1982, and bought by BNP Paribas Intercontinentale in 1990. Its network in the Comoros Isles includes a head office in Moroni (Grande Comore Island), a branch in Mutsamudu (on Anjouan Island) and one seasonal office in Fomboni (on the Island of Moheli).
Established under Comoro law, the BIC is a universal commercial bank with a branch network. It caters to the needs of:
