Since 2002, we have been committed to a process of sustainable development. In order to make it practical and effective for the company as a whole, we have defined several levels of decision-making, action and control.
We have chosen to join several national and international CSR organisations, some of which are specific to the banking sector and others that are more general in their scope. We work hand-in-hand with these organisations as they strive to develop and promote corporate responsibility among their member companies.
We have also established a specific organisational structure within the Group, together with a dedicated team based at our corporate headquarters: the CSR Delegation. The mission of the CSR Delegation is to develop and manage the implementation of our sustainable development strategy, in which it is supported on a day-to-day basis by a network of CSR coordinators drawn from the Group’s business lines, entities and subsidiaries.
As part of this process, which we want to be collaborative in nature, the CSR Delegation is engaged in a continuous dialogue with BNP Paribas’ various internal and external publics (its stakeholders). These dialogues are a source of constant progress.
